Sheriff Sales Information
Sheriff sales are held on Friday mornings at 10:00a.m. inside the front doors of the Jackson County Court House, located at 226 East Main St., Jackson, Ohio 45640.
The bidding will always starts at 2/3 the appraised value and 10% of the sale price is due the day of the sale. We accept no personal checks. Must be cash, cashiers check, or money order. The balance of the amount owed is due at the time you receive the deed (usually 30 to 40 days after the sale) I will contact you when I receive the deed.
The Sheriff's Office does not handle Tax Sales. If you have any questions about Tax Sales contact the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office at 740-286-5006.
